With Lorelai becoming more and more interactive in her play time, I’m itching to furnish her new room with plenty of fun and educational toys. Although an argument can be made in favor of loud, colorful plastic toys I much prefer Lo to spend her time with BPA free wooden versions of flashier items like these:
Ikea MALA easel, Fern Living dollhouse, Muji Paris in a Box, The Wonderful World of Fifi Lapin, Ikea DUKTIG Mini-kitchen, iWood Wooden Laptop, Ikea DUKTIG 14-piece Vegetables Set

After being in our new place for about a month we’re finally able to move Lorelai into her own room adjacent to ours (her crib has been in our bedroom lately). While I adored her native inspired nursery, I’d love this room to be a space where she can play, learn and grow. Lo’s turning 1 very shortly and is starting to walk and engage in more interactive play so I want to fill this room with educational toys, imaginary play and tons of colorful books.

p.s. Thanks to everybody for hanging in there after we experienced the great baby shampoo disaster of 2012. I have yet to find a new computer and apologize for the sporadic/lack-lustre posts lately.
Our new apartment is severely lacking in the bathtub department. Enter huge aluminum planter that I found at our home improvement store and Lorelai is clean!
Crib training is proving to be a difficult task for miss Lo. With our sleeping quarters temporarily crammed into one room, Lorelai refuses to sleep in her crib since she can see us in our bed.
We spent this past weekend at Disney World and Universal Studios. Miss Lorelai loved every single minute of it!
A baby book, for Lorelai, a little girl who is practically perfect in every way and will be loved more than she will ever know.
